John Mueller

John Mueller is the Senior Webmaster Trends Analyst at Google. He’s been working at Google since September of 2007.

Before joining Google, he owned a software company in Switzerland for more than 12 years.

At the time, he created a site maps generator (shortly after sitemaps were introduced). He then started being active in the original help forums from Google trying to figure out how search engines work. John spends a lot of time answering SEO and search-related questions.
