Jason Barnard: It would help me to better run my business from marketing perspective coz I know I’m doing that wrong, but also creating the content.
Last question is the final question for everybody. Either or of these two questions. How can anthropology help with Branded Search? How does Branded Search tie in with anthropology?
Matt Artz: It is almost like a reflexive relationship. It’s one influences the other and you almost can’t discern cause and effect or at least that’s the way I could have read the questions. I would argue that anthropology can help Branded Search, from the perspective of culturally relevant, Branded Search strategies that are grounded in research.
But then I see that reflexively influencing the specialization, you’re developing new skills, you’re positioning the specialization itself.
In a sense you’re positioning you as the individual doing that work. And they just, to me, it’s like a flywheel they continually feed off of each other. And so I don’t necessarily think they’re separate. I think they’re connected in this relationship.
