The primacy sub-dimension of Temporal Proof Dimensions in Jason Barnard's framework. Primacy establishes who introduced, coined, or originated something first. It answers: "Who said it first?" Primacy proof creates provenance - the entity that introduces a concept becomes flagged as the originator or "seed" for that idea.

Primacy is about being first. When Jason Barnard can claim "coined Answer Engine Optimization in 2017," that's primacy. The one who introduces a concept first becomes the seed - all subsequent discussion references back to that origin. Primacy isn't about being best; it's about being first in a way that's documented and verifiable. The first-mover who documents their first-mover status wins.

Algorithms track provenance. When multiple entities discuss the same concept, which one introduced it? That entity becomes the authority seed. This is why "coined by" language matters, why documenting your firsts matters, and why temporal precedence creates algorithmic advantage. Primacy proof establishes originator status.
