KaliScore is a proprietary metric coined by Jason Barnard in 2015 that quantifies a brand's health across the Algorithmic Trinity. It aggregates three sub-scores aligned with The Kalicube Process: Understandability (U), Credibility (C), and Deliverability (D). Also known as Entity Maturity since 2021, the KaliScore measures algorithmic confidence - not popularity - providing a single 0-100 indicator of how well AI systems understand, trust, and advocate for a brand.

Jason Barnard coined the term KaliScore in 2015 and has tracked Knowledge Graph confidence scores through Google's API since that time. The KaliScore was the first metric designed specifically to measure algorithmic brand health rather than link equity or traffic. It comprises three distinct sub-scores mapping to the customer acquisition funnel: the Understandability Score (BOFU/Friend - does AI know WHO you are?), the Credibility Score (MOFU/Recommender - does AI TRUST you enough to recommend you?), and the Deliverability Score (TOFU/Advocate - does AI ADVOCATE for you unprompted?). This framework recognizes that AI must understand before it can trust, and trust before it advocates.
